When running a fleet of vehicles it is important for safety that our vehicles being used on the road are maintained to a high standard and are in a safe and reliable condition. Each of our vehicles has a detailed and unique maintenance planer which sets out the intervals of the services and regular checks. There will also be preventative maintenance carried out. The vehicle will have parts and items of wear that will be replaced well before they become in a state of neglect. Again this is not just about the reliability but about the safety of the vehicles as being let go to such a condition is a serious risk to our drivers and other road users.  

We also have our own mechanic who is an IRTEC Accreditated HGV Inspection Technician. He is a time served HGV mechanic at Scania and he carries out inspections at our depot aswell as keeping an eye on the whole of the fleet of vehicles.
